I’m originally from Gravenhurst so I was already aware of The Manor. I decided to move in for the friendships because I was lonely.
Surprisingly, my memory of things in Gravenhurst from my past has really come back to me. Also, although I knew I was lonely, I didn’t realize how much until I came to The Manor and started making friends.
I feel safer now that I’m at The Manor and I truly enjoy the friendships I’ve made. I would definitely recommend The Manor to others.

The hospital actually brought me to the community for a respite stay. However, after being here for two months, I decided this was the place for me and moved in permanently.
