Marilyn’s journey to Gravenhurst Manor began unexpectedly when the hospital arranged a respite stay in the community. At the time, she fully intended to return to her own home. However, after two months surrounded by care, comfort, and connection, Marilyn realized she had already found the place where she truly belonged. What began as a short stay quickly became a permanent and heartfelt decision.

Her greatest inspiration has always been her mother, whose influence helped shape the caring and family-centered person she is today.
